New Center Circle at Town Square Wheaton
Town Square Wheaton to Redevelop the Shopping Center’s ‘Center Circle’
Town Square Wheaton, the lifestyle center located in Wheaton’s Danada district, announced that it has started the redevelopment of its center circle. Currently, center circle is brick paved with a large fountain in the middle. Tables and chairs surround the fountain and Town Square Wheaton hosts free community events throughout the year in the center circle. The newly developed space will cultivate a community gathering atmosphere and will include an outdoor fireplace, seating areas, fountain, and a large turfed space creating an inviting space for residents to enjoy new activities.
“We envision the new center circle to enhance the spirit of community gathering,” Linda Bonen, General Manager of Town Square Wheaton said. “I am excited to be part of a center that cares for the community and will provide a beautiful atmosphere for area residents to enjoy events, meet on nice days and gather throughout the year.”
Development commenced this month, with a planned reopen in late fall. All stores will remain open during the construction. Grand opening festivities are being planned and will include a concert series, shopping giveaways and more. New pylon signs have also been constructed on the property to enhance the visibility and identity of the center.
